ISPE Canada Land Acknowledgement
The ISPE Canada Affiliate is situated on the traditional territory of First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples from coast to coast to coast. We acknowledge that the ISPE Canada Affiliate includes land and water routes that were created and used, both historically and presently, by Indigenous peoples as seasonal travel and trade routes. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on and enjoy.
As a remote team, we encourage our team members, clients, and partners to reflect on colonialism’s enduring legacy and engage in reconciliation meaningfully. We encourage everyone to visit Whose Land and access the Indigenous Ally Toolkit by Dakota Swiftwolfe.
We encourage everyone to learn more about the lands they currently live on. For more information on traditional territories, feel free to check out the resources below. We highly recommend contacting the nation directly for specific information related to their community.
